Reuvion, also known as J-Plasma, is a revolutionary minimally invasive skin tightening and resurfacing device. Renuvion uses cool helium plasma to instantly tighten and firm the skin on the face or body. Using a dual thermal effect, Renuvion combines both cool helium plasma as well as radio frequency (RF) energy heating to resurface and tighten the skin. Renuvion can be performed on the face as an alternative to a facelift, or anywhere on the body in conjunction with our body sculpting procedure. Renuvion has FDA approval for cutting, ablation, and coagulation of soft tissue during open and laparoscopic procedures.

How does it work?

Whether Renuvion is used on the surface of the skin or in addition to our body sculpting procedure, Dr. Mohamed performs the procedure in our office and there is very little downtime. We use a local anesthetic to help make all of our patients as comfortable as possible during the procedure. Using the dual thermal effect, there is in immediate contraction and tightening of the skin tissue. The skin tightening results of our Renuvion procedure can continue to improve over the following 6-9 months after a procedure as collagen continues to build and improve.
